Titel und Beschreibung Englisch Documentation of the results of the thematic workshops for the development of the Austrian Circular Economy Strategy. In the course of developing the Austrian Circular Economy Strategy 2050, concrete proposals for measures were developed through the broad involvement of actors from business, civil society, administration and science. In the period from May to June 2021, nine thematic workshops took place, in which around 250 participants developed more than 600 concrete proposals for measures to establish and improve the circular economy in Austria. The focus was on the topics of waste management, construction biomass, electrical and electronic equipment, consumption and use, plastics, mobility, textiles and packaging. The present report summarises the results of the workshops and creates the basis for a future programme of measures that aims to harmonise the value creation of resources as well as social and ecological aspects.
