Lineage Quality Die Energieraumpläne basieren auf §2b der BO für Wien. Sie sind Verordnungen bestehend aus einem Verordnungstext und einem Plandokument pro Bezirk. Die hier bereit gestellten Daten beziehen sich auf alle beschlossenen Gebiete und dienen zur Information ob ein Bauvorhaben / Grundstück innerhalb der Klimaschutz-Gebiete liegen könnte. Aus diesen Daten ist kein Rechtsanspruch abzuleiten. Die ersten Klimaschutz-Gebiete wurden Ende Juni 2020 vom Wiener Gemeinderat für die Bezirke 2, 7 und 16 beschlossen. Ende September 2020 folgten die Bezirke 3, 8, 9, 18 und 19. Bis Ende 2022 werden in allen Wiener Bezirken Klimaschutz-Gebiete verordnet sein.

Resource title and description in English **Energy Zoning Plans - Climate-Protection Areas ** Energy Zoning Plans are legal binding ordinances of the City of Vienna defining so-called "Climate-Protection areas". The ordinances consists of two parts per district: text and planning document. This geodataset shows all legal binding Climate-Protection Areas which where approved by the City Council till today. This data are not the original ordinances! The definition of "climate protection areas" is laid down in the ordinance on energy zoning plans (spatial energy plans) in the Vienna Building Code § 2b and only valid for NEW buildings in these areas. The geographical design of the climate protection areas makes sure the area is serviced by the district heating grid. In addition, at least 1 further climate-friendly heating system based on renewable energy or waste heat must be feasible in this area. This ensures a freedom of choice for the heating system in climate protection areas.
