Resource title and description in English Repeal of measures according to IG-L. After limit values for PM10, NO2 and benzo(a)pyrene were exceeded, programmes and ordinances on measures under the Immission Control Act - Air (IG-L) were issued in some federal provinces. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs and in cooperation with the offices of the provincial governments, the Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) has proposed criteria and developed guidelines on how to proceed with the abolition or modification of these measures. These criteria include an estimation of the change in the immission load, a consideration of the meteorologically caused range of variation, an estimation of the risk of non-compliance with the limit value and increase in the load, and a consideration of the trend in emissions. For the analyses and the result of the criteria assessment, the Guidelines provide for documentation in a report or in an expert opinion.
