Resource title and description in English Report for the Transition 2040 scenario with a time series from 2020 to 2050. At regular intervals, the Environment Agency Austria creates scenarios about the development of Austrian greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which are used as a basis for fulfilling the EU reporting obligation within the framework of the Governance Regulation (VO 2018/1999/EU). The present scenarios also serve as input for discussions and political decision-making on the implementation of the EU's Fit for 55 package and the achievement of climate neutrality by 2040.
