Resource title and description in English Parking space survey Alsergrund: The Alsergrund parking space survey (consisting of report and detailed plan) was commissioned by the Alsergrund district council in order to obtain data on the parking space situation both on and off the street. The parking space supply and statistical structural data (population, vehicle statistics, parking space supply in public-commercial garages etc.) were collected and mapped throughout the district. The demand for parking spaces (utilization) on public streets was surveyed as a random sample in five areas, which together account for approx. 20 % of the district's parking space supply. In addition to parking space utilization, the composition of parking space demand (cars with parking sticker 9th district, Viennese cars without parking sticker 9th district, cars with Austrian license plates, cars with foreign license plates) was also surveyed.
