Resource title and description in English Future-proof transport infrastructure planning. On behalf of Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V. (NABU) and the Netzwerk Europäischer Eisenbahnen e.V./DIE GÜTERBAHNEN, the German Environment Agency has analysed how a review of the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030 should be designed to take account of the applicable requirements arising from nature conservation and climate protection objectives. This report discusses the information and documents published to date on traffic development, traffic forecasts, implementation and funding status. Based on this, recommendations for action are derived for a review of the requirements plan that promotes the transport and environmental objectives of the federal government and the European Union.
